Now that I’m in my mid-40s, I realize more and more how important physical exercise and proper nutrition are to healthy aging. On one hand, I see people in their 60s who are entirely dependent on others for their care and still, I am inspired by men and women in their 80s or 90s who are able to go hiking, play with their grandchildren and simply remain independent. It is my goal with the fitness programs and nutrition guidance, that I am able to age as gracefully as possible. The fitness aspect helps preserve my bones and joints. The nutrition aspect keeps my internal organs functioning properly. I will be using this column to talk about various health and aging-related issues.
